This project is located in the bustling Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. The Victorian-era building had been segmented into apartments a couple decades prior to our introduction to the space. 

The two-level apartment included underutilized rooms and awkward circulation — opportunities we used to create a far more functional and beautiful home. The remodel reconfigured the interior layout to improve flow and sightlines, introduced custom millwork and built-ins, and added a sculptural steel stair hand and guardrail.

We refreshed finishes, curated updated furniture, and commissioned custom artwork to bring personality to the space. Thoughtful daylighting strategies, a material palette of warm woods, honed stone, a neutral palette, and carefully considered lighting and acoustics transformed the apartment into a bright, composed, and sophisticated sanctuary within the city.
