Nestled into the tree-laden hillside of Lafayette, our clients purchased this family home recognizing its immense potential. For this whole house remodel we worked closely with the homeowners to fuse their individual design preferences into a unified vision — bringing intention, improved flow, and abundant natural light to every room. 

Our process included careful study of space adjacencies, flow diagrams, and anticipated circulation patterns.  A modest addition paired with strategically placed openings shifted the main level into natural balance and invited new sightlines to the landscape strengthening the home’s indoor outdoor connection. We specified authentic, site-appropriate materials — natural oak floors and millwork, honed concrete countertop surfaces, and refined custom steel details. The result is a refreshing interpretation of the classic California aesthetic and a thoughtfully composed family home that reads as timeless and grounded in its setting, optimized for everyday life.
