Located in a sunny hilltop neighborhood in Marin, this home was acquired by Mairin + Brian with a clear vision to create a long-term home for their family.
The renovation encompassed the three-story house along with an attached ADU studio space for visiting in-laws and guests. The aesthetic goal was classic California infused with subtle nautical touches as an ode to their ties to the East Coast. We integrated a blend of modern + natural materials + positioned windows to optimize the flow of natural light and to frame views of the lovely backyard and garden.
