Nestled into the tree-laden hillside of Lafayette, our clients purchased this family home recognizing its immense potential. Our studio worked intently to fuse our clients’ different design visions + aesthetic preferences with the common goal of bringing intention, flow + light to the space.
Our process for this full remodel included studying space adjacencies, flow diagrams + anticipated circulation patterns. A very modest addition in combination with some strategically placed openings organically shifted the entire main level into balance. We applied authentic, natural materials including natural oak, concrete + steel – a reflection of the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The end result was a refreshing take on a modern, classic California aesthetic.
